However, there are 43 muscles in the human face as well as various aesthetic elements that can portray an enormous amount of emotion and storytelling. Young Artist basics
This class for 1st-6th grade artists investigates the basics of imagining and creating works of art. From exploring various mediums to understanding how colors work, students will gain an understanding of what goes into a work of art and how to start one of their own. Learn how to apply and manipulate watercolor paint. This course demonstrates how to use watercolor paint with various methods on paper. The first class will be on the paint itself, how to apply it, manipulate it and handle the paper. The final three classes will be establishing and working on a composition of your own.
